Iran, becoming the hub of infertility treatment in the region
The most important point to attract patients from different parts of the world is high quality health care and affordable costs of infertility treatment in Iran. Treatment of infertility is among the most expensive treatments in the world. In this regard, repeated treatments are often required accordingly the cost of treatment will be increased. Iran possessing various infertility clinics, has stepped in world class infertility treatment at the level of improved countries. Thus many patients from neighbor countries and even from United States and Europe would like to receive infertility treatment in IRAN. This point seems to be important to absorb health tourism in Iran. Besides, affordable costs of treatment and also advanced quality of treatment can lead IRAN as a source of treatment infertility in the region. So many foreign patients demand infertility treatment in Iran.
According to IRAN ministry of health currently we have 300000 health tourists from different parts of the world and this figure has increased 10 times over the last 10 years. Iran hosts many patients from Iraq, Afghanistan, Azerbaijan and Pakistan. Deputy of Ministry of health "Dr. Iraj Harirchi" with regard to health tourism capacity in Iran declared: About 500milion people from neighboring countries are demanding to achieve health services in IRAN.
