New diagnostic method for eyelid surgery by Iranian ophthalmologists
A new test for the diagnosis of lacrimal gland failure was first introduced by a research team at eye research center of Iran university of medical sciences.
According to Mehr News Agency, a novel diagnosis method for lacrimal gland failure in people suffering from eyelid puff has been published in the American society of ophthalmic plastic surgery journal for the first time. This approach has been invented by Dr. Mohsen Bahmani Kashkooli in the eye research center of Iran university of medical sciences. Many applicants refer to treat their upper eyelid through cosmetic surgery known as blepharoplasty. Because of high puff in eyelids, diagnosis of lacrimal glands is so difficult and may result in fistula in lacrimal glands or other problems.
